- Only if the PDF already has a text layer. Pure image scans need OCR, which this browser tool does not run.
- Is layout preserved?
- No. Text is flattened into paragraphs. Use this for copy, not for pixel-perfect reconstruction.
- Page limit?
- 40 pages per run so the tab stays responsive.
- Does the file upload?
- No. Extraction runs locally.
