Reporting an issue
Accuracy matters. If you believe a calculator, formula, explanation, reference, unit conversion, graph, result, legal notice, or page experience is incorrect, please report it with enough detail for review using the Contact Us page (Calculator correction option).
What to include
- The page URL and calculator name.
- The inputs used and the result shown.
- The expected result, formula, source, or standard if available.
- Screenshots or exported reports if they help reproduce the issue.
- Browser, device, and operating system when reporting display or accessibility issues.
Review process and response time
Reported issues are reviewed for reproducibility, source quality, impact, and priority. We aim to acknowledge correction reports promptly and to resolve confirmed calculation errors as quickly as reasonably possible, prioritizing issues that affect financial, health, legal, or safety-related outputs. Where a correction is needed, we update the affected calculator, content, reference, or interface and preserve a clear internal record of the change, including the "Last updated" date on the relevant page where applicable.
If we disagree
If our review concludes that a reported issue reflects a valid modeling choice, a known simplification disclosed on the page, or a difference in assumptions rather than an error, we will explain that reasoning in our reply rather than silently closing the report.
