Our commitment
AnswerCanvas aims to make professional calculators understandable and usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. The platform is built with semantic structure, responsive layouts, visible focus states, keyboard navigation, accessible labels, and readable contrast as core product requirements, not an afterthought.
Conformance target
We aim to align new and updated pages with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as a general practice. This is a working target across a very large calculator library rather than a certified, independently audited conformance claim, and some older or highly specialized pages may not yet fully meet every criterion - see Known limitations below.
Accessibility practices
- Support for keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators throughout calculator forms and results.
- Semantic headings, buttons, links, forms, and labels used consistently across pages.
- Responsive pages designed for desktop, tablet, and mobile use.
- Reduced-motion respect where animations are not essential to the experience.
- Readable typography, strong color contrast, and structured, predictable calculator page layouts.
Known limitations
With over a thousand calculator pages, some interactive charts, third-party embedded components, or legacy pages may not yet fully meet every WCAG success criterion. We treat accessibility reports as a priority category alongside factual corrections, and we work to remediate confirmed issues in a reasonable timeframe based on severity and impact.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us with the page URL, device, browser, assistive technology if relevant, and a description of the issue. We use accessibility feedback to prioritize fixes and improve the platform for everyone.
