Sale and sharing of personal information

AnswerCanvas does not sell personal information for direct monetary payment. However, our use of advertising cookies and similar technologies in connection with services like Google AdSense may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA's broad statutory definitions, because those technologies may share identifiers or browsing activity with advertising partners for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising. How to submit a request

To submit a verifiable consumer request, use the Contact Us page and select the privacy request option, or email us directly. Please include your name, the request type, and enough information for us to reasonably verify your identity given the limited personal information we hold. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may still require you to verify your own identity directly with us. We will respond within 45 days of receiving a verifiable request, which may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, with notice to you.

No discrimination

We do not discriminate against users for exercising any CCPA right, including by denying service, charging different prices, or providing a different level or quality of service, except as expressly permitted by the CCPA. Some features may require limited information to operate, respond to a request, or preserve security, and declining to provide that information may limit your ability to use that specific feature.

Shine the Light

California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section 1798.83) permits California residents to request certain information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. AnswerCanvas does not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes without your consent.
